Amara Solomon Kamara was born and raised in Zorzor, Lofa County Liberia. He is a registered and committed member of the Minnesota Mandingo Association. He has served this organization in many capacities as a leader and role model to the youth of his community. Amara is a consensus builder and fund raiser, who enjoys hard work, volunteering and devoting his time to his community,
Currently he serve on 2 other boards: The Dandies Project- An initiative founded 2 years ago in Minneapolis whose goals are to highlight the positive influence and impact that men of color have in their communities, starting with a strong sense of individuality through personal self-awareness and expression.
As Board member of Masjid Al-Ansar community Center in Brooklyn Center, MN, he recently got selected as Chief Administrator to carry on the day to day operation/affairs of the Masjid.
Community involvement is critical to Amara.

A graduate of Tulane University, Amara is an award winning exercise physiologist and considered one of the best trainers in the Twin Cities. He is founder and owner of PILLARS ATHELTICS TRAINING one of Twin Cities top personal and athletics training firms. He has been featured in many athletics magazines for his knowledge and results in physical transformations.
