Why The Fuss
Febuary 27, 2010 By:

We have lived together for
decades
We Shared believes for decades
We ate the same Torborgee for decades
We have being uncles and nephews for decades
We fought against adversaries for decades
Why fuss now?
We share culture and tradition for decades
Our Poro and Korma fraternities worked in
harmony for decades
Our sandy Feasts have never had boarders for
decades
Our church bells have rang for decade
Our Azans have sounded loud for decade
Our Christmas and Ramadan have being celebrated
together for decade
Our children have dance to the rhymes of the
Jagba and the gbegbegi for decades
Why the fuss now?
Unless someone tells me that uncle and nephews
are not relatives
Unless someone tells me that he/she has no
relation with the other
Unless someone tells me that the civil war did
not affect them
Unless someone tells me that the name Lofa means
nothing to them
Otherwise why the fuss then?
The God the Muslims serve fosters peace and
tolerance
The God the Christians serve foster loving thy
brother as you love thyself
The laws that govern us give everyone their
rights to exist
Why the fuss then?
Unless we realize that a Lofa without the other
can never be Lofa
Unless we realize that the God we all serve is
the God that put us together
Unless we realize that no one is responsible for
why they are what they are,
We(Lorma & Mandingo or Muslim and Christains).
will find is hard to get rid of fuss |
