This is to announce the home going
of Col. Kabana Alpha Sheriff. This
sad event occurred on April 17, 2008
at the hour of 7:07pm at the St.
Joseph Catholic Hospital in
Monrovia. He was born on to the
union of Mr. and Mrs. Kabana
Sheriff. His father Kabana Sheriff
Sr. died before his birth on July
22, 1962 in Gbarnga, Bong County. He
was than named after his father for
being the only child of his parents’
marriage. He was raised by his uncle
Alahaji Losine Sheriff (Koyako
Losine).
After his primary and secondary
education, He joined the Liberian
National Police (LNP) in 1974. He rose
through the ranks of the LNA. Among the
ranks he served diligently were
Commander of the Task Force and Deputy
Senior Inspector of the Liberian
National Police. For the 45 years, 9
months and 26 days he lived, he served
his country and people with diligence
and respect. We his family believe that
he was prepared for his home going
because it is embedded in our faith to
live every day as if it is our last day
on Earth and ‘death a necessary end will
come when it will come!’
He leaves to mourn his loss six children
and a host of other relatives in the
United States, Guinea and Liberia:
