The Vice President for Administration of FELMAUSA Hon. Fumba V.D. Toure, over the week extended the diplomatic olive branch to ONYMA’s incoming President Issa Fofana. The FELMAUSA VP also extended similar diplomatic courtesy to the Organization’s incoming VP, Hon. Mamadee N. Sacko, Secretary General Ousmane Touray, and its Board Chairman, Hon. Abdullah Kromah. Enthused by the discipline and etiquette of administrative diplomacy, Vice President Toure placed a personal phone call to each one of the newly elected officials of ONYMA.
In a separate telephone conversations with ONYMA’s officials- elect, the powerful FELMAUSA Vice President, on behalf of the Executive Leadership, commanded the courage and fortitude of the incoming officials for standing up to challenge opponents of those respective positions to which they have triumphantly emerged victorious. The FELMAUSA second in command delightfully welcomed and congratulated the officials on their political victories. Mr. Toure also applauded the outgoing Leadership of President Layee Sirleaf for job well in making it possible for genuine democracy to take its course. He praised and thanked Mr. Sirleaf and administration for molding and nurturing an election process of the hallmark of transparency and fairness. He said history will remember his administration for encouraging the exercise of constitutional democracy.
The FELMAUSA VP for Administration, however, called on President-elect Issa Fofana and administration to now begin to focus on weeding out policies that did not materialized during the time of his predecessor and implementing those that proved positive for the ONYMA organization. He reminded ONYMA’s incoming Leadership to quickly take into account that FELMAUSA needed its unwavering and unconditional cooperation in order to achieve the greater goals and aspiration of Liberian Mandingo community. The VPA said FELMAUSA was a chapter driven institution that relied greatly on meaningful contributions of Chapter States to achieve planned policy goals and objectives.
In a separate development, Vice President Fumba Toure expressed the Executive Leadership’s heartfelt complement and satisfaction with the current performance of the National Board of Directors of FELMAUSA. He said the only way forward to achieving our common interests and common characteristics for the greater good of the Federation, is for there to exist increased mutual collaboration between the Administration and Board of Directors, and the Board has indeed unquestionably demonstrated that from the inception of our ascendency to helm of power of this great Federation. We are very grateful to the current Board Leadership for leading body in such direction.
He said the Bangalee Trawally Administration was especially moved, by the consistent and expeditious pace, with which this august body is handling the confirmation hearing process of the presidential appointment of Standing Committees forwarded for confirmation.
